Baselios Vidyanikethan Senior Secondary School is one of the leading schools in Ernakulam district. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school came into being in 1998 with the objective of providing mental, cultural and moral development of children. To realize these ideals in practice varied opportunities are provided in school so that the young saplings may blossom fully in a cheerful, graceful and free atmosphere.
It is managed and run by Malankara Orthodox Syrian Educational and Charitable Society, Devalokom , Kottayam. It is nested under the serene surroundings of St.Thomas Dayara where St. Gregorios of Parumala, stayed and fasted. This school is under the proper guidance of the Manager of ST.Thomas Dayara.
SCHOOL HISTORY Making the dreams of centuries to be true Baselios Vidyanikethan was established on 01.06.1998.H.G. Yuhanan Mar Policarpose ( Former Manager) and H .G . Thomas Mar Athanasios of Chengannoore Diocese (former Corporate Manager) was the master figure behind the thought. Within the assistance and support of a dedicated team including villagers, the school continued its initial services. It was really a spark which kindled a wide project. The corner stone of B.V.N.s which is strengthened by the power of prayer and hard work thus flourished and reached its present glory. The progressive nature itself made the magic behind the fast growth. BVN currently caters to the educational needs of more than 648 students with about 67 members of faculty and staff.
